Terms and Conditions: Cathedral Rock E-Bikes Rentals and Tours
Please carefully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions before renting an E-Bike or participating in a tour with Cathedral Rock E-Bikes in Sedona, Arizona. By renting an E-Bike or participating in a tour, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1. Rental Agreement:
a. Riders must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid identification card or passport.
b. Rental fees must be paid in full at the time of reservation or rental commencement.
c. Rental duration is typically measured in hourly or daily increments, as determined and agreed upon during the reservation process.
d. Any extensions to the rental duration must be approved and paid for accordingly.
e. An eBike rental security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon safe return of the eBike, without any damages.
f. The eBike must be returned in the same condition it was rented. Any damages, losses, or theft are the sole responsibility of the renter.
g. No riding on dirt trails or in Yavapai Forrest (Stay off of DIRT as much as possible)
2. Safety Guidelines:
a. Riders must wear a helmet and abide by all local traffic laws and regulations.
b. All riders are required to take an orientation and safety briefing before proceeding with the rental or tour.
c. It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for cycling, and to bring sunscreen, water, and any necessary personal items.
d. Riders must adhere to designated paths, trails, and roadways specified during the orientation or tour.
e. Participants should always maintain a safe and appropriate speed, taking into consideration the surrounding environment and the capabilities of the eBike.
f. It is strictly prohibited to operate the eBike under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substances that may impair judgment or coordination.
3. Booking and Cancellation:
a. Reservations for eBike rentals or tours can be made online, over the phone, or in person.
b. Reservation cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled rental or tour to receive a full refund. Late cancellations may result in a partial or no refund, as determined by Cathedral Rock eBikes.
c. Cathedral Rock eBikes reserves the right to cancel or reschedule rentals or tours due to inclement weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered.
Rock eBikes assumes no liability for any injuries, accidents, losses, or damages incurred during the rental period or tour, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or theft.
b. Renters and participants are responsible for their own well-being and assume all risks associated with riding an eBike or participating in a tour.
c. Cathedral Rock eBikes strongly recommends that individuals acquire personal insurance coverage to protect against any unforeseen circumstances or incidents.
5. Indemnification:
a. Renters and participants agree to indemnify and hold Cathedral Rock eBikes harmless from any claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities arising out of their use of the eBikes or participation in a tour.
6. Personal Responsibility:
a. Renters and participants must exercise caution and good judgment while operating the eBike, taking into consideration their own abilities and limitations.
b. Renters and participants are responsible for their own actions and acknowledge that Cathedral Rock eBikes is not liable for any damage or injury caused by their negligence, misuse, or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Privacy:
a. Any personal information provided during the rental or tour booking process will be kept strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating the rental or tour process.
8. Governing Law:
a. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Arizona, United States.
9. Modification:
a. Cathedral Rock eBikes reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the renter's and participant's responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.
By proceeding with the eBike rental or tour booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the above Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with any of these terms may result in the termination of the rental or tour without refund. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly.
