Who We Are
My grandparents moved to Sedona in 1970, back when you could park at Cathedral Rock without a two-hour wait. Back when tourists were rare and locals knew every hidden swimming hole in Oak Creek.
I grew up here. Not visiting - living. I learned to ride a bike on these red rock trails. I watched thousands of sunrises from spots most tour companies will never show you. I know which trails flood in monsoon season, where the best light hits Cathedral Rock at 6:47am, and why locals avoid Highway 179 on Saturday mornings.
In 2020, we started Cathedral Rock Ebikes because we were tired of watching visitors spend two hours looking for parking when they could be experiencing the magic of this place. We're not tour operators who moved here to run a business. We're Sedona locals sharing our home.
When you ride with us, you're not getting the generic Sedona tour. You're getting 50+ years of local knowledge. The swimming holes we discovered as kids. The photo spots that aren't on Instagram yet. The stories about this place that you can't Google.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I ride e-bikes on hiking trails?
E-bikes are permitted only on designated jeep trails maintained by the county and motorized traffic roadways.
What's the minimum age requirement?
Riders must be 14 or older due to our trail difficulty levels.
What's included with rentals?
Each rental includes:
- Premium safety helmet
- Water bottle
- Secure bike lock
Are e-bikes allowed in Coconino National Forest?
E-bikes are not permitted on mountain bike trails or off-road forest paths. Our e-bikes' weight and power could pose safety risks to pedestrians and other cyclists. Riding in restricted forest areas may result in legal consequences.
Does Sedona have e-bike lanes?
Yes, Sedona features extensive bike lanes and neighborhood routes connecting popular destinations. As a bike-friendly community, Sedona promotes safe road-sharing practices and continues expanding its cycling infrastructure.
